Hooda grew up with her maternal grandmother and spent most of her childhood in Delhi and Haryana. He did MBA in Human Resource Management and Marketing from Melbourne, Australia. He is good at sports during his school days and later developed an interest in the acting field.

In his first movie, he shared the screen with Naseeruddin Shah, Litty Dubey, Ram Kapoor and so on.
