Amit Golani Biography
Amit Golani is an Indian director and writer, known for TVF Pitchers (2015), Barely Speaking with Arnub (2014) and ‘The Making Of…’ (2014). He is an IIT Bombay pass out who worked as the executive creative director at TVF Media Labs, an online Platform for Entertainment.
Golani was born in Indore, India and was educated at Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar, Indore. His father, Anoop Golani works at Ranbaxy Labs Ltd. In 2008, Amit moved to Mumbai and studied engineering at IIT Bombay. It was during this time he met the founder of TVF, Arunabh Kumar( Qtiyapa guy).
The Viral Fever (TVF) team also includes Biswapati Sarkar who is the Creative director and is famous for essaying the character of Arnab Goswami, which is a satirical emulation of the Indian journalist Arnab Goswami.
While Kumar, Golani and Sarkar are among the best things to have happened to TVF-ONE, it would be grossly unfair to heap all credit on them. Their contribution is unquestionable but what he has worked for TVF-ONE is that it is a powerhouse of writing, acting, directing and post-production talent. Be it Nidhi Bisht, Jitendra Kumar, Deepak Kumar Mishra, Anandeshwar Dwivedi or Sameer Saxena.
These are just the frontline writing team who also act and direct; we haven’t rattled off the production team that includes Prem Mistry, Vaibhav Bundhoo, Raghav Subbu, Amrit Raj Gupta et al who chip in everywhere. Clearly, TVF-ONE’s bench has more depth, substance and emoting ability than a combined version of Rajkumar Kohli’s magnum opus Jaani Dushman.
