Arunabh Kumar Biography
Arunabh Kumar is the founder of The Viral Fever, an online entertainment network that satirizes Indian politics issues, Bollywood film, way of life, social framework and concepts and so forth. He is the occupant Chief Experiment Officer (CEO) of The Viral Fever Media Labs. His profession can be summed up as an Engineer, Administrator, Entrepreneur, YouTuber, and Industrialist.
Arunabh Kumar was born on November 26, 1982, and raised in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. His father was a strict disciplinarian, who nearly writes Arunabh’s destiny. Post his schooling, Kumar showed up for JEE but did not go through in the first attempt, he then went to Kota to get ready for IIT and made it in the following attempt. Arunabh attended IIT Kharagpur and earned his BTech degree in Electrical Engineering.
Subsequent to graduating from IIT Kharagpur, Arunabh Kumar moved to Mumbai and attempted his fortunes there. In the wake of working in a US Air Force project, Arunabh Kumar fostered productive associations with inventive personalities of IIT Mumbai. He did a couple short movies that in the end picked up a considerable measure of attention. Later, he joined Shah Rukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment in an assistant position under Farah Khan. He demonstrated his legitimacy by functioning as an assistant director for Farah Khan’s blockbuster motion picture “Om Shanti Om.”
Impressed with Arunabh’s work, actor Amir Khan offered him a chance to work on Delhi Belly. In a contest sorted out by Network 18 and PnC Communications, Arunabh won an honor for his highly inspiring short movie “The wish drivers”. He approached several youth channels for airing his show- “Engineer’s diary”. Every single youth channel owner liked his idea but they eventually rejected to broadcast his show on their channel. Arunabh Kumar stated, “those rejections are the best rejections of my life.”
MTV channel also rejected his creation “Engineer’s Diary” which prompted the creation of “The Viral Fever” (TVF). He then started uploading videos on Youtube and interestingly, his first video was the second most viewed video that specific week. His second video “Rowdies” got a million views in under 5 days. Currently, TVF has a total team of 70 with 11 others consultants and 2 Offices in Delhi and Mumbai and is the second biggest Youth Entertainment media Network in the country.
Awards and Achievements
In 2014, he was named “Newsmaker of the Years” by AFAQ and “Man of the Year” by Man’s World. He was listed among the GQ’s List of Most Influential Young Indians for 2015 and 2016. In 2016, he was named to the “List of 10 Geniuses Redefining Creativity” by Entrepreneur. Fortune also listed Arunabh among the “Top 40 under 40 lists for 2015 and 2016. The Economic Times also named him in the “40 under Forty” list for 2016.
