The two stars have known each other for 25 years and they are now going to host a campaign; “Nayi Soch”. Earlier they even took their first selfie together which certainly pointed their relation was leaning towards the bright side. Even though, “Nayi Soch” is not a Movie or a show it certainly could be a starting point for their further collaboration.Starplus has launched the campaign under the name “Nayi Soch” in collaboration with brand initiative “BCCI”.The campaign questions mixed societal stereotypes on the basis of gender bias.
Various stars like M.S. Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and so on have starred in its promo video including Amir Khan. The videos posted on youtube is gaining some serious support from the viewers.

The video above portrays the Indian way of thinking that daughters can’t successfully promote a business in an emotional manner. In the video, Gurdeep (played by Amir Khan); a sweet shop owner is being praised by a customer for his booming business. Gurdeep replies with a smile that the success is all because of his children’s effort. To which the customer praises his children and says that he has worthy sons. However, Gurdeep instantly corrects him saying that it is actually his daughters. The customer when exiting the shop then notices the sign board that reads “Gurdeep Singh & Daughters”. The ad is extremely inspiring and has been viral in the media.
