Prayaga Martin is a prominent Indian actress, model, and a classical dancer.  She has successfully established herself as a prominent actor in the Malayalam movie industry. With her career in movies she has won hearts of millions of fans.

Early Life

Prayaga Martin was born on 18th May 1995 in Kochi, Kerela, India to Malayali parents, Martin Peter and Jiji Martin. She follows Christianity and holds Indian Nationality. She studied at Bhavans Vidya Mandir at Elamakkara and is studying English Literature and Communications Studies at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam at present.

Prayaga Martin’s Career.

21-year-old Prayaga Martin grabbed media’s attention when she got a leading role in the Tamil movie “Pisaasu” in the year 2014. Prayaga was nominated for SIIMA Award for the Best Female Debutante-Tamil. Prior to this movie, she had a cameo appearance in the movie “Ustaad Hotel” in 2012. Martin signed many movies in her career, but unfortunately, only a few of them were brought to life. Some of her signed movies like “Cartoon”, “Poda!”, “Andavan En Pakkam”, “Chennai” got shelved.

In the year 2016, Her Malayalam Debut movie “Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya” got released. In the same year, she played Ann Maria in “Kattappanaylie” along with Hrithik Roshan for which she won Vanitha Film Award for Best Debut Female.

Soon thereafter, she played in the movie “Ore Mugham” where she starred opposite to Dhyan Sreenivasan for which the pair was nominated for 19th Asianet Film Awards for Best Star Pair. She played as Nafsi in the movie “Fukri” by Siddhique replacing Madonna Sebastian. She has signed on to play in the Malayalam movies “Ramleela”, the political thriller and “Vishwaspoorvam Mansoor”.

In addition to acting, she has also a keen interest in dancing and is also a professional Classical Dancer. Besides this, she is also seen in advertisements of Malayala Manorama, and so on. In the year 2016, Kochi Times declared her as the 20th most desirable women.
