Ranganathan Madhavan, commonly known as R Madhavan is one of the underrated actors of Indian Cinema. Despite being one of the most talented and versatile actors in the movie industry, he often got overshadowed by other factors of the film. Madhavan was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to Ranganathan Madhavan and Saroja Madhavan. He grew up in Tamil Nadu with his younger sister, Devika Madhavan. His father was a management executive in Tata Steel and the mother was a manager in the Bank India.
