Swapan Dasgupta is a senior journalist of Indian media who has made his own identity and stature. Over his long distinctive career, he has acquired the fame of being one of the most frequently appearing figure on Indian television along with Arnab Goswami, Ravish Kumar, and Rajat Sharma.

Swapan Dasgupta was conferred with Padma Bhushan by Indian government in 2015 for his contribution toward Indian journalism. He is also the recipient of Kesari Award and other many recognitions and accolades.
